There are days when I would rather do minimum cooking and washing. This afternoon is one of them. I opened my fridge and found left over roast chicken, an avocado that was just ripe, pesto sauce that I’ve made and freeze and two big Portobello mushrooms. I knew I’ve found lunch!

    Just to let you know – the peppers the other night came out really well. I shall be doing those more often.
    On another food note – I am very happy… I was meant to be going out for a meal last night and arrived at the restaurant before my friend. As I waited outside, I looked over the menu and decided on the steak and ale pie. Bet when she arrived and we went in, we found out that the restaurant was fully booked and had to go elsewhere. No pie! However, my brother just called saying, do you want to come over for dinner tonight, I’m making pie?
    I love it when things like that happen.

      I am so happy that your peppers came out well. I will be doing those often too. Never knew grilled peppers with skin off can taste so good.

      Last night was your night and I am sure you had a wonderful dinner at your brother’s home. I always believe some things are meant to be. Even small events like this can bring lots of joy. You are a lucky one and thank you so much for sharing! You make me happy too 🙂 keep it coming!
