There are not many happy moments in my life and that makes them too precious to be forgotten. Hence I decided to start a new category “happy moments” to collect them from now on and share my joy.
Today is Deepavali and it happens to be my first post for this category.
One of the best decisions I have made over the past two years is to move from my old apartment to this new home surrounded by lovely neighbors and nice scenery. Since I shifted in, Deepavali has been a happy moment each year when my Indian neighbor Mr. Raju will bring over mouthwatering lunch to celebrate the occasion.
Happy Deepavali!
Love the fact that you’re starting a ‘Happy Moments’ category!!
Kenley
Thank you Kenley 🙂
ohh..lovely neighbors…not very common these days eh 😉
Yes. I am very fortunate.
I wish my neighbour was lovely and not so damn weird! Great idea to have a lovely moments category – sad that you don’t have too many of them. I’m sending you one right now 😉
Hi Gabriela, you have just added one for me 🙂 hearing from you is a happy moment. How are you doing? It’s been awhile since your last post.
Yeah, I’m a bit behind schedule on my post this week. Hoping to put something up today. Other than that I’m doing really well. I’ve got ten people for dinner tomorrow night and I’m trying to think of something to cook that won’t break the bank.
Great to know you are doing really well. Cooking for ten people is no child’s play but I’m sure you’ve cooked a feast to satisfy all within budget.
I have been living here for one year and I don’t know my neighbors….. 😦 I wish you many happy moment!!!!!!!
Thank you so much! It is pretty common these days that we don’t communicate with our neighbors. The ones in my old home are those who don’t talk.
nice neighbors, tasty food, happy moments. I will toast a glass with you for those reasons 🙂
Thank you. Cheers! 🙂
Love the “Happy Moments”; great addition! And “Happy Deepavali”!
What a wonderful neighbor. You are blessed : )
Thank you Judy. “Happy Deepavali”! 🙂 I really appreciate my neighbors. They are very nice people. Yes I’m blessed.
